1.0 PURPOSE:<br />1.1 To provide Customer Service Centers with procedures on how to operate and set‐up the Model‐<br />904/905/944/9D5 watch.<br />2.0 WATCH OPERATION AND SET‐UP<br />2.1 HOW TO START YOUR WATCH<br />If the watch is provided with an e‐guard (small plastic inserted between case and crown), it needs to be removed by<br />pulling downward (perpendicular to the back of the watch case).<br />2.2 TIME‐OF‐DAY SETTING<br />a. Pull the CROWN out to SET 2 Position (second hand will stop moving).<br />b. Rotate the CROWN to move the HOUR and MINUTE HANDS clockwise until correct time is displayed.<br />Note: Be sure to observe the AM or PM hands position when passing the 12 o’clock to 1 o’clock.<br />If date change occurs, time is on AM and if no date change, time is on PM.<br />c. Push the CROWN in to the ZERO Position. The SECOND HAND should resume operation after one second.<br />2.3 DATE SETTING<br />This is applicable only on watch styles with the Quick Date feature (M905 & M9D5).<br />a. Pull the CROWN to the SET 1 Position.<br />b. Rotate the CROWN in either direction until current date is displayed.<br />c. Date numeral should increase or decrease depending on the CROWN direction.<br />d. Push the CROWN in to ZERO Position.<br />Note: If above date setting occurs between 10 o’clock PM and 2 o’clock AM, the date numeral adjustment should only be in<br />the incremental direction.<br />2.4 INDIGLO ACTIVATION<br />This is applicable only on watch styles with the INDIGLO feature (M904 & M905).<br />Note: Models with this feature usually have the word “INDIGLO” printed on the watch display area.<br />Due to technical limitation, there are products that will show a small unlighted area at 6 o’clock or 12’oclock location of<br />the dial. This is not a defect.<br />a. Push the CROWN inward. Watch display will illuminate with blue‐green or blue light.<br />b. Releasing the CROWN back to the ZERO Position will turn off the INDIGLO light.<br /><br />
